Description
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released new regulations requiring anyone flying or operating a small unmanned aircraft system (drone) under 55 lbs. and for commercial and hobbyists purposes is required to be a FAA Certified Remote Pilot. Keeping on top of the continuously changing regulations is the law. It is imperative for all drone users from children to adults to full-time professional drone pilots to keep up with the regulations. All drone pilots are required to register their drone and to have proof of passing a knowledge test with them any time they fly a drone. This 14-hour course provides the participants with in-depth training on all aspects of the FAA Part 107 knowledge concept rules and regulations needed to safely fly drones.

Eligibility
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires anyone flying a drone for commercial purposes to obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate. This FAA certificate validates that participants understand the regulations, operating requirements, and safety needs when flying drones.
FAA requirements for aeronautical knowledge exam are 16 and older, a U.S. citizen, and be able to read and speak English.
Program Structure
This course is taught over two Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
