Course Instructors

Eric Reichwaldt

Eric is a Nebraska native from Lincoln, who after 10 years in the United States Air Force landed on the outskirts of Omaha. During my time as a weather forecaster in the Air Force I filled several different roles and earned a wealth of experience in process improvement and leadership. During my last assignment working on the Air Force’s premier web enterprise software project I fell in love with software development and decided not to re-enlist, and instead pursue a career in technology. After helping an up-and-coming government contracting company start their development team from scratch I moved on to lead a large corporation in their efforts to adopt Agile software development. Finally, partnering with some of the brightest and most talented people I have ever worked with I now run Shyft Solutions, a company focused on providing decision-ready weather information to the world in addition to software consulting and training.
