Course Description
This course is designed to prepare students to take and pass the Project Management Institute PMP© exam. The class introduces important advanced PMI PMBOK® Edition 7 topics including Earned Value Analysis, CPM and financial analysis. The course takes attendees through the initiating, planning, execution, controlling and closing processes and uses group exercises as a hands-on approach to reinforce key concepts. The course integrates PMP® Certification Prep sessions that introduce attendees to the form of the CAPM and PMP test and gives practical tips, memory joggers and best-practice advice on effective test taking, recommended study materials and methods. Practice tests are included and build to a final, complete CAPM and PMP® practice test that builds individual confidence and experience leading to successful attainment of the CAPM or PMP® designation.

Tisha Gufford, MSOP, PMP, CSM - I have been working with projects for the past 15 years and have experience with waterfall, scrum, and SAFe. I have the Project Management Professional (PMP) and am a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). I also have a master’s degree in Organizational Performance which compliments my techniques in project management. I am a member of the PMI Heartland Chapter and have volunteered to facilitate sessions in the PMI Heartland Chapter PMP prep course.
